The two-day 9th Jakarta Geopolitical Forum provided a strategic platform for discussing critical issues related to geoeconomic fragmentation and energy security.
The forum, which gathers policymakers, academics, and the private sector, held in-depth discussions across four interconnected plenary sessions.
Summarizing the results of each session, Ir. Edi Permadi, Professional Expert for Natural Resources at Lemhannas RI, emphasized three key global challenges that must be addressed together: humanity, prosperity, and sustainability.
For Indonesia, downstreaming is considered imperative. This not only adds value to natural resources but also encourages investment, stimulates the development of quality human resources, strengthens national technology, and restructures regulations for legal certainty and sustainable development.
The annual forum was closed by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si. He expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the meeting, which generated valuable ideas for achieving geoeconomic stability and shared energy security
