Lemhannas RI and LDII Explore Potential Collaboration in Reaching Future Change Agents

The Governor of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI), Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si, accompanied by the Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI, Lt. Gen. TNI Eko Margiyono, and the Deputy for Strengthening National Values, Maj. Gen. TNI Rido Hermawan, M.Sc., received a visit from the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute (LDII), led by the Chairman of LDII, Ir. H. Chriswanto Santoso, M.Sc. The meeting took place in the Governor's Guest Room on Monday (14/01). During the meeting, the potential for collaboration between Lemhannas RI and LDII was discussed.
Chriswanto mentioned that LDII's priority programs in building human resources include nationalism, religion, education, and health. Among these programs, LDII seeks to develop the nationalism program, aligning with the vision of achieving Golden Indonesia 2045.
Chriswanto shared that LDII is currently running a virtual school for nationalism. Given the experience and functions of Lemhannas RI, LDII hopes that Lemhannas can be involved in providing national insight to the teachers and da’iah (Islamic preachers) in LDII. "We see Lemhannas as one of the opportunities to help safeguard the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," Chriswanto said. Therefore, LDII highly values the potential for cooperation in the field of nationalism with Lemhannas RI.
The collaboration between LDII and Lemhannas RI was warmly welcomed by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, particularly in strengthening national values. The Governor stated that LDII is a solid Islamic organization that has shown its role, especially in preaching, social economy, and human resource development. “One of the areas that LDII focuses on is the strengthening of national values. We hope that this meeting will lead to an exchange of views, thoughts, and insights. Lemhannas is committed to cooperating with LDII, which is organizing the Virtual School for Nationalism,” said the Governor of Lemhannas RI.
On this occasion, the Governor of Lemhannas RI also invited LDII to participate in education at Lemhannas, particularly in strengthening national values. Chriswanto stated that the meeting marked the beginning of more intensive collaboration between Lemhannas and LDII in addressing national challenges in the era of globalization. “Moreover, since we are also active in education and da’wah, the issue of nationalism is crucial, so that messages of nationalism can be quickly and widely disseminated throughout Indonesia,” Chriswanto concluded.
Also present accompanying the Chairman of LDII were the General Secretary, H. Singgih Trisulistyono, M.Hum., the Chairman of the Communication, Information, and Media Division, H.
