Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma Sworn In as Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI

The Governor of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI), Dr. H. TB Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., officially inaugurated Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, S.E., M.M., M.Sc., as Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI in the Hening Room, Trigatra Building, Lemhannas RI, on Tuesday (4/28). The inauguration was based on Presidential Decree No. 42/ TPA of 2026 dated April 15, 2026, regarding the Dismissal and Appointment to and from Senior Leadership Positions within Lemhannas RI, and the Governor of Lemhannas RI’s Decree No. 92 of 2026 dated April 23, 2026, regarding the Appointment to the Position of Vice Governor of the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia.

On this occasion, the Governor of Lemhannas took the oath of office from Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, S.E., M.M., M.Sc. After saying the oath, Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, S.E., M.M., M.Sc., signed the minutes of the inauguration, followed by remarks from the Governor of Lemhannas RI.

“I am convinced that the mandate entrusted to you is the result of your commitment to serving the nation and the state all this time,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI commenced his remarks. He expressed his hope that this inauguration marks a new beginning for delivering the best possible contributions through professional, adaptive, and highly ethical work. 

Lemhannas RI was established as a center for the development of national leaders and for strategic studies that are outstanding and globally oriented. To realize this vision, Lemhannas RI carries out a mission that includes educating and preparing national leaders with integrity and a national perspective, conducting strategic studies based on geopolitics and geoeconomics, providing strategic recommendations to the government, and reinforcing national values as the foundation of statehood within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Furthermore, the Governor of Lemhannas RI stated that the duties of the Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI are not limited to the administrative level, but extend to strategic leadership. The Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI is expected to oversee the quality and direction of education for national leaders so that they can adapt to global dynamics, strengthen Lemhannas RI’s role as the nation’s strategic think tank, integrate geopolitical perspectives into every policy recommendation, and ensure that national values remain the primary foundation in facing global dynamics and pressures.

“You are expected to connect strategic thinking with policy action, as well as to bridge the gap between long-term national interests and short-term global dynamics,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI emphasized.

Following the inauguration of the Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI, the event continued with a welcome ceremony for the vice governor and a farewell ceremony for retired officers and staff of Lemhannas RI. The highest appreciation was expressed to the retired officers and staff of Lemhannas RI for their significant contributions to efforts to enhance national resilience and foster a sense of national identity among the Indonesian people, as well as for their exemplary service to prospective national-level leaders.

The Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI also expressed his hope that the entire Lemhannas RI community would provide support and cooperate to carry out the duties, responsibilities, and tasks of Lemhannas RI to the best of their ability. 

The event concluded with the presentation of souvenirs and a friendly gathering with Lemhannas RI personnel. (SP/CHP/DA)
