Ending its 61st anniversary celebrations, Lemhannas RI held the “Lemhannas Fun Run” with the theme “Run Together, Stronger Nation” on Sunday (5/24). This event, which was open to the public, began with a flag-off by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., at the front lawn of Lemhannas RI, serving as the starting point.

“One of the highlights of this 61st anniversary is the Lemhannas Fun Run, which shows us all that we are enthusiastic about moving toward a Golden Indonesia through running—Golden Indonesia 2045 with national resilience,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., said in his remarks during the flag-off for the 10K category.

On this occasion, the Governor of Lemhannas RI was accompanied by the Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI, Vice Admiral Erwin S. Aldedharma, and the Prime Secretary of Lemhannas RI, Drs. R. Z. Panca Putra S., M.Si.

The Lemhannas Fun Run was divided into two categories: 5K and 10K. The Governor of Lemhannas RI and the Vice Governor of Lemhannas RI participated in the 10K category, while the Prime Secretary of Lemhannas RI participated in the 5K category.

Upon reaching the finish line, the finishers received medals and refreshments. The event then continued with the main session, which featured the announcement of the winners, a Zumba session, a band performance, games, and door prizes.

The Executive Chair of the Lemhannas Fun Run, Brig. Gen. Otto Sollu, S.E., M.M., reported that the total number of participants reached 2,200, consisting of those who registered online and in person, the entire Lemhannas RI family, as well as participants from P4N 69 and P3N 27 of Lemhannas RI. Participants came from all segments of society, including 10 people with disabilities.

Furthermore, the Governor of Lemhannas RI stated that the Lemhannas Fun Run is intended as a symbol of the spirit to make Indonesia a resilient, strong, and great nation to realize the vision of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka through the “Asta Cita” principles, aiming for the realization of “Indonesia Emas 2045.”

As the culmination of the 61st anniversary celebrations of Lemhannas RI, this event is not merely a milestone marking the institution’s age but also a reflection of Lemhannas RI’s long journey of service in preparing the nation’s cadres and leaders, strengthening national consciousness, and reinforcing national resilience.

The Governor of Lemhannas RI also explained that this event holds a broader significance than just a sporting activity. “Running teaches us about spirit, discipline, fighting spirit, consistency, and resilience in the face of challenges. These values align with the spirit of national resilience that has been the driving force behind Lemhannas RI’s efforts all along,” he said.

He added that in a long-distance race, success is determined not only by speed, but also by endurance, strategy, and the ability to maintain a steady pace until reaching the finish line. This mirrors the journey of nation-building, which requires collaboration, synergy, hard work, and an unyielding spirit. The sense of togetherness in this Fun Run also symbolizes that building national resilience is not the task of a single party, but rather the responsibility of all components of the nation.

Concluding his remarks, the Governor of Lemhannas RI expressed his hope that this institution will continue to develop, become more advanced and adaptive, and always serve as a strategic foundation and a training ground for the nation’s leaders in strengthening national resilience toward Indonesia Emas 2045.
