After opening the Training for Spouses of P3N 27 participants, the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., delivered a briefing to participants in the Training for Spouses, which aimed to foster a sense of togetherness among the spouses of P3N 27 participants, at the Gadjah Mada Auditorium on Tuesday (6/2).
The training emphasized the importance of shared perceptions, perspectives, and alignment between national leaders and their spouses in fulfilling their professional responsibilities. “Therefore, all of you must be of one mind, share the same fate and burdens, and be willing to support your spouses or partners in their work, ensuring that the family serves as the driving force in guaranteeing these tasks are carried out effectively,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI stated.
A leader must understand geopolitics because a nation’s existence is inseparable from the global geopolitical context. As the School of Geopolitics, Lemhannas RI strives to unify the perspectives of various national elements—such as the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), civil servants (ASN), business leaders, and academics—on how to address rapidly changing, unpredictable geopolitical conditions that affect every nation, as well as the challenges posed by technological disruption currently faced by Indonesia.
Furthermore, the Governor of Lemhannas RI stated that national resilience is not determined solely by military or armed forces, but rather by how a nation can face various domestic and foreign challenges to ensure its existence, integrity, and the continuity of the state. “I would like to emphasize that you should regard family as a vital institution—the foundation of national resilience. The family is the smallest unit within the nation and serves as the seedbed for the growth of national resilience,” he said.
“A national leader is not Superman; rather, a great leader is one who is capable of fostering collaboration and adapting to the national strategic environment to ensure national resilience,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI said as he concluded his session. (SF/CHP/DA)
