The National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas RI) held the opening ceremony for the National Leadership Preparation and Strengthening Education (P4N) Batch 68 for 2025 at the Dwi Warna Purwa Building on Wednesday (5/2). The P4N Batch 68 for the 2025 fiscal year carries the theme "Enhancing National Leadership Capacity to Support Asta Cita in Realizing Golden Indonesia 2045."

In his report, the Deputy for National Leadership Education, Air Vice Marshal TNI Andi Heru Wahyudi, stated that P4N Batch 68 at Lemhannas RI will be conducted over the next six months. The P4N program at Lemhannas RI aims to prepare and strengthen national-level leaders who are moral, ethical, and possess statesman-like character, have a national perspective, think strategically, understand geopolitics and geostrategy, are aware of the importance of national resilience, and can become innovative leaders relevant to global challenges.

"Welcome to the Miniature Indonesia Campus, the School of Geopolitics, where you will study geopolitical issues and become a crucible for future national strategic leaders," said the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., in his opening remarks.

In line with the educational objectives and goals, participants will be integrated into Lemhannas RI to be prepared as national-level leaders who think comprehensively, integrally, holistically, and professionally, while possessing national character, morals, ethics, and statesman-like qualities. To this end, Lemhannas RI continues to evaluate and optimize the curriculum to make it more effective and efficient, while also adapting to the evolving strategic environment.

Highlighting the changing global geopolitical landscape, the Governor of Lemhannas RI noted that these changes have impacted various aspects of social life. Among the conflicts mentioned were the United States under "Trump 2.0" leadership and the intense competition between the European Union, China, and Russia. These rivalries have also affected regional conflicts, such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the Middle East conflict, and tensions in the Indo-Pacific region.

Furthermore, the Governor of Lemhannas RI emphasized that the nation is currently facing social changes that could disrupt human life as a result of entering the "geocybernetic" era. Another critical issue he raised was climate change, as rising sea levels and shifting rainfall patterns could significantly impact food security.

In line with these geopolitical dynamics, participants at Lemhannas RI will be equipped with materials related to national perspectives as a nation of value, national leadership, national resilience, geopolitics, and geostrategy through the *asta gatra* (eight elements) approach. Additionally, as future national leaders, participants will also gain essential knowledge to understand and implement the vision of President Prabowo Subianto's administration, "Together Towards an Advanced Indonesia for Golden Indonesia 2045," which is realized through the eight missions of "Asta Cita."

On this occasion, the Governor of Lemhannas RI conveyed four messages to the participants of P4N Batch 68. First, to participate in and undergo the educational process with sincere intentions, adopting a mindset, attitude, and actions based on geopolitical and geostrategic perspectives, thinking holistically, integrally, and comprehensively with high commitment and integrity.

Second, the Governor of Lemhannas RI hoped that participants would use the learning process at Lemhannas RI as a means to measure and enhance their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities, along with leadership skills that embody integrity. The third message was for participants to continuously increase their motivation to learn by fulfilling their roles as responsible education participants.

Lastly, the fourth message was for participants to build and maintain active communication networks (networking) among themselves, as well as with instructors, researchers, professionals, and institutions through interactions that enhance their competence and ability to realize national strategic leadership. "I hope that after graduating from this program, participants will assume top strategic positions in their respective institutions and possess the national strategic leadership competencies imparted here, serving as a foundation for their future careers with integrity-driven leadership," emphasized the Governor of Lemhannas RI.

It is important to note that the total number of participants for P4N Batch 68 at Lemhannas RI in 2025 is 110 individuals, comprising 3 from ministries, 2 from state institutions, 5 from government agencies, 12 from non-governmental organizations, 31 from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) including the Army, Navy, and Air Force, 31 from the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and 8 from friendly countries, including Timor-Leste, Jordan, Singapore, India, and Malaysia.
