NusantaraTV’s President Director Audience with Lemhannas RI’s Governor

Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si, welcomed the visit of NusantaraTV Director, Don Bosco Selamun, on Tuesday (11/3). NusantaraTV Commercial Director Dede Apriyadi, NusantaraTV Program and Technical Director Nunung Setiyani, NusantaraTV Portal Editor-in-Chief Ismoko Widjaya, and NusantaraTV General Manager Sales Aldasni also attended the audience.
On that occasion, the governor of Lemhannas RI and the Director of NusantaraTV discussed a number of issues, one of which was public trust. According to the Governor of Lemhannas RI, the media plays an important role in conveying information to build public trust. Collaboration with the media is essential in disseminating government policies.
Similar to the Governor of Lemhannas RI’ point, the Director of NusantaraTV believes that public trust is important. If issues are causing public distrust, then the distrust will turn into a new problem. Regarding public trust, the Director of NusantaraTV appreciated Lemhannas RI’s contribution during the recent Regional Head Retreat.
The Director of NusantaraTV explained that the backgrounds of the regional heads are varied and diverse. Therefore, a unified understanding of the same national values is essential. “Lemhannas can establish a good standard,” he said. Addressing this issue, the Director of NusantaraTV believes that an understanding of national values is also crucial for the younger generation.
The governor of Lemhannas RI explained that the strengthening of national values is very crucial to be instilled in young people to be the basis of the life of the nation and state. “The process of character building with Pancasila values and our national ideals must be continuously reinforced to young people,” he said.
The Governor of Lemhannas RI argued that character building based on Pancasila will foster national outlooks, awareness of state defense, and understanding of national objectives. Moreover, in a geopolitical situation surrounded by uncertainty, the strengthening of national values is urgently required through formal education and non-formal programs.
One program launched by Lemhannas RI to reach out to the younger generation is the Lemhannas Goes to Campus program. “Universities must become incubators for the strengthening process of national values,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI said. As educational institutions, universities must be at the forefront of science development, innovation, and understanding of national values.
The Governor of Lemhannas RI also stressed that the young generation is the one who will lead Indonesia to the goal of the Golden Indonesia 2045. Therefore, the youth must possess a firm foundation of national values to realize this goal. “The momentum is with the young people today; they are the ones who will make up the advancement of Indonesia in 2045,” he concluded.
