Lemhannas RI Urges 69th National Leadership Program Participants to Embody Five Core Leadership Traits

"Welcome to the miniature campus of Indonesia. You are among the nation's finest individuals, selected from various institutions and organizations," Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si. said during the opening ceremony of the 69th National Leadership Preparation and Consolidation Program (P4N) on Tuesday (1/13). The 69th P4N brings together 110 participants, comprising 48 personnel from the Indonesian Military (TNI), 28 from the National Police (Polri), 21 civil servants (ASN), seven non-civil servants and six participants from partner countries.

The Governor of Lemhannas RI said the participants would be brought together at Lemhannas RI to study geopolitical developments and their implications for national resilience while developing a shared understanding as future national leaders. He emphasized that such common perspectives are increasingly important amid a rapidly evolving global landscape marked by multidimensional challenges. "This program is designed to equip future leaders with the ability to analyze, understand and formulate sound policies amid fast-changing global dynamics," he said.

The 69th P4N is held under the theme, "Strengthening the Capacity of National Leaders to Support Asta Cita toward Indonesia Emas 2045." Lemhannas RI considers the theme highly relevant to the leadership challenges ahead, as Indonesia prepares a new generation of leaders capable of responding to an increasingly complex strategic environment. Throughout the program, participants will receive a wide range of knowledge and strategic insights to support the vision of "Together for an Advanced Indonesia toward Indonesia Emas 2045."

"Through the knowledge and strategic issues presented in this program, participants are expected to formulate innovative policies in their respective fields to address the nation's current challenges and contribute to achieving our national goals," The Governor said.

On the occasion, The Governor of Lemhannas RI expressed his hope that participants would develop five core characteristics of national leadership. First, they should possess the qualities of statesmanship, grounded in national values derived from Indonesia's Four Basic National Consensus. Second, they should have a global outlook with a sound understanding of geopolitics and its impact on the evolving dynamics of nations in strengthening national resilience.

Third, they should understand national strategic programs and policies while contributing strategic and solution-oriented ideas to help realize Indonesia Emas 2045. Fourth, they should be capable of making strategic policy decisions aligned with the national interest and the Asta Cita agenda of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Fifth, they should demonstrate the ability to cooperate, collaborate and coordinate effectively in pursuing the nation's goals and aspirations.
