Lemhannas RI Holds First-Ever Sacred Flag Cleansing Ceremony to Mark 61st Anniversary

As part of its 61st anniversary celebrations, Governor of Lemhannas RI Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si. led the institution’s inaugural Pataka (ceremonial standard) cleansing ceremony on Monday (5/18). The ceremony, marking the first-ever ritual cleansing of the Lemhannas RI Operation Seroja (sacred lotus) Banner, was held in the Hening Room of the Trigatra Building at Lemhannas RI. The historic event was intended to honor the institution's dharma values, which serve as the foundation of its mission and identity.

The Lemhannas RI Pataka, bearing the motto “Tanhana Dharmma Mangrva,” features the institution’s emblem, which consists of the Bintang Nur Cahya (Star of Divine Light), the Seroja (sacred lotus) flower, the Lemhannas unity symbol, and a ribbon inscribed with the motto Tanhana Dharmma Mangrva. The banner was officially conferred by the President of Indonesia through Presidential Decree Number 033/TK/1968 on the Awarding of the Lemhannas Operational Banner. It symbolizes dedication and service in strengthening national resilience while embodying unity of thought, feeling, determination, words, and actions, all guided by a single truth.

The cleansing ceremony is expected to symbolize the purification of the institution’s path forward while renewing its spirit, cleansing the soul, and spreading the values of integrity and virtue in support of efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s national resilience.
