The Governor of Lemhannas RI welcomed the visit of Team 9 of the Presidium of the Communication Forum of the Regional Executive Boards (DPD) and the Executive Boards (DPA) of IKAL Lemhannas in the Governor’s Executive Guest Room on Friday (1/23). The meeting was led by the Chairman of Team 9 and DPA IKAL-Lemhannas, Dr. Ir. H. M. Amran Aminullah, SP., M.M.
Opening the meeting, Amran Aminullah explained that the Communication Forum of DPD and DPA IKAL-Lemhannas was established to facilitate communication among members of IKAL-Lemhannas across regions and batches. During the meeting, Team 9 and the Governor of Lemhannas RI discussed the efforts to strengthen collaboration in future programs between Lemhannas RI and IKAL-Lemhannas.
The Governor of Lemhannas RI welcomed the visit and stated that Lemhannas RI is currently encouraging and implementing the directive of the President of the Republic of Indonesia contained in the first point of the Asta Cita, which is to strengthen the values of Pancasila. This initiative aligns with the mandate of Lemhannas RI to reinforce national values.
The primary target of the program is the millennial generation and Generation Z through the Lemhannas Goes to Campus program in several regions. In line with this initiative, the Governor hoped that the Forkom DPD and DPA IKAL-Lemhannas team would support and strengthen the programs of Lemhannas RI.
Through this program, university students will gain a deeper understanding of national values and be equipped with geopolitical awareness. As a government institution, the Governor believes that Lemhannas RI can serve as a communication bridge between the government and universities in strengthening the next generation who will contribute to the nation’s progress.
During the meeting, the Governor also emphasized the importance for all Lemhannas RI alumni to unite the nation’s strength by collectively safeguarding national values. “The DPD of IKAL is expected to independently take the initiative to strengthen national resilience programs in accordance with their responsibility as agents of change,” the Governor concluded.
