“May we never grow weary of continuing to ensure that national values take root deeply in the hearts of the Indonesian people,” said the Governor of Lemhannas RI. The statement was delivered during the Closing Ceremony of the Strengthening of National Values Program (PPNK) Batch 224 of 2026 at Lemhannas RI on Thursday (2/12). The program, themed “Building National Self-Reliance through Asta Cita to Realize Indonesia Emas 2045,” was held for eight days from February 5 to 12, 2026.

On the occasion, the Governor of Lemhannas RI hoped that PPNK alumni would understand their role as agents of change amid declining national spirit and an uncertain situation that requires strong resilience in the context of national ideology. The Governor explained that the challenges currently faced by the nation must be addressed collectively, ranging from global geopolitical dynamics and declining social cohesion to technological disruption and the massive spread of disinformation that weakens the spirit of nationalism. Given this challenge,  the Governor of Lemhannas RI called on all alumni to continue fostering patriotism and love for the nation. Alumni must consistently uphold the nation’s four fundamental consensus and strengthen ideological values in their daily lives.

Furthermore, the Governor reminded alumni that wearing the Lemhannas RI pin should not be merely symbolic, but must be accompanied by the implementation of the knowledge they have gained and by serving as role models in society. “PPNK alumni must always be present in practicing the values of Pancasila, reviving the spirit of mutual cooperation, and remaining among the people to help ensure that our nation upholds noble values as enshrined in the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia and other national principles,” the Governor said.

The Governor also expressed appreciation to all participants who had taken part in the education program with enthusiasm and dedication, as part of their contribution as citizens striving to give their best for the Republic of Indonesia.

During the event, the alumni also read a joint commitment. They pledged to uphold the Four Fundamental National Consensuses and contribute their best to the country; to become agents of change and renewal in strengthening national unity; to promote religious moderation among different faith communities; and to serve as exemplary figures in defending the nation and fostering love for the nation.
