The Governor of Lemhannas RI Receives a Delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia

The Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., welcomed Tanaka Motoyasu, Director of the Political Section at the Embassy of Japan in Indonesia, in the Governor’s Executive Guest Room on Thursday (4/23). During the meeting, Tanaka Motoyasu extended an invitation to the Governor of Lemhannas RI  to visit Japan.

Tanaka Motoyasu discussed the technical details of the visiting plan to Japan for the Governor of Lemhannas RI. He explained that the program was organized to strengthen networking with Japanese officials and to explore opportunities for closer cooperation between the two parties. 

The Governor of Lemhannas RI warmly welcomed Tanaka Motoyasu's visit and invitation. He said that the visit to Japan would be an opportunity to expand knowledge exchange, particularly in food security, defense, and the strengthening of strategic inter-institutional relations. 

In addition to planned meetings with several Japanese government institutions, the visit will also be coordinated with the strategic study program for Lemhannas RI trainees. “We certainly hope that in the future, cooperation between Indonesia and Japan—in this case, through Lemhannas—can become even stronger, ” the Governor of Lemhannas RI said.

Regarding the strategic study program at Lemhannas RI, the Governor of Lemhannas RI outlined the participants’ itinerary, which included visits to several Japanese government agencies. Tanaka Motoyasu also stated that he would facilitate a discussion between the Governor of Lemhannas RI and Indonesian scholars and academics based in Japan. 

Through this meeting, the Japanese government and Lemhannas RI aim to continue strengthening relations between Indonesia and Japan and to foster strategic collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and support for enhancing Indonesia’s national resilience. (SF/CHP/DA)
