Lemhannas RI has once again launched the Training of Trainers (ToT) program on the Strengthening of National Values for its 38th batch in 2026. The opening ceremony took place in the Central Courtyard of Lemhannas RI on Tuesday (6/23). The program was officially opened by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzily, M.Si., who also acted as the inspector of the ceremony.

A total of 100 participants are taking part in the program, comprising 45 university lecturers, 30 school teachers, 19 civil service trainers, and 6 personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces and National Police (TNI/Polri). Over the course of 8 days, participants will engage in classical classroom learning at Lemhannas RI and outbound activities at the Army Medical Training Center (Pusdikkes Puskesad) in East Jakarta.

In his remarks, the Governor of Lemhannas RI expressed his appreciation to all participants for answering the call to strengthen the nation’s ideological foundation and character, a vital responsibility that rests on the shoulders of educators through the inculcation of national values. The Governor highlighted various global and national challenges, such as the currently turbulent global landscape, geopolitical uncertainties, technological disruptions, threats of social polarization, the spread of hoaxes, moral degradation, and the eroding sense of tolerance among the nation’s citizens.

“Therefore, the nation’s four basic consensuses, including Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity), serve as our national anchors to face the immense waves of this era,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI stated. He emphasized that these four basic consensuses are not merely historical relics to be memorized; rather, they are a living ideology that must remain relevant and capable of answering the challenges of global modernization.

As architects of civilization, educators serve as the vanguard, holding the key to the minds and hearts of the nation’s future generations. They are expected to educate children to be not only intellectually brilliant but also to possess a strong character deeply rooted in the values of Pancasila. Furthermore, it is in the hands of the civil service trainers that the state civil apparatus is forged to embody a spirit of genuine devotion and nationalism in their public service.

In line with this, through the 38th batch of the ToT program, the participants’ capacity will be enhanced to ground the four basic consensuses, making them engaging, contextual, and inspiring for the highly digital-centric Generation Z and Generation Alpha. “Thus, we will ultimately succeed in raising a generation of winners who are ready to lead Indonesia out of the middle-income trap and transform it into a developed, just, and prosperous nation exactly a century after our independence, realizing Indonesia Emas 2045,” the Governor of Lemhannas RI declared.

Concluding his speech, the Governor of Lemhannas RI expressed his hope that the participants would engage in the ToT program with utmost discipline and enthusiasm. He also hoped that the training would serve as a collaborative space for exchanging ideas, sharpening analytical skills, and strengthening the bonds of the national network. (SP/CHP/DA)
